Cherry Stokes

 I am a retired public school teacher with 28 years experience. During my years in the public school classrooms, I taught twelfth grade college prep English, fourth grade, second, first, and kindergarten. Most of my years were spent in Kindergarten as that is my passion --- I am currently certified in South Carolina in Secondary English, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Elementary Guidance Counseling. I have a B.S. Degree from College of Charleston in English, an M.ED Degree from College of Charleston in Early Childhood Education, and 30 hours above my Master’s from The Citadel in Counseling. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have 4 two legged children (2 sons and 2 daughters), one 4 legged daughter (she is really a rough coat Jack Russell but don't tell her she is a dog…It's a family secret), and seven grandchildren (If you take any of my classes you will hear about them!). I LOVE teaching at Tech combining my two of my favorite things --- teaching and young children!
