Sandra Hackley

Sandra is the Program Director for Early Childhood Development at Midlands Technical College. She has been working in the field of early childhood for over 28 years as a child care center teacher and director, public school teacher, small business owner, and family child care provider. Through the field of Child Care Resource & Referral, Sandra served as a parent counselor, workshop leader, technical assistance specialist, and child care advocate. In addition to teaching classes and directing the Early Childhood Development Program, Sandra continues to provide workshops and seminars for parents and child care providers, and has written multiple publications on quality child care. As a child care advocate, she partners with local, state, and national organizations to help South Carolina families access affordable quality child care. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson State University in Baltimore, Maryland and received her M. Ed. In Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina.
