I am the Assistant Principal of the Columbia Jewish Day School. This is my 17th year with the school having taught the kindergarten as well as the 2nd and 3rd grades at the school. I also taught in Richland District One prior to the CJDS. I am an Early Childhood Adjunct Faculty Member for the University of South Carolina, a Certified PITC trainer, and I am certified to teach over 18 workshops for the CCCCD of SC. I had the pleasure of supervising USC students last spring on a study abroad to Reggio Emilia, Italy. I was inspired by their early childhood theory and practice and was excited to bring back and implement many Reggio ideas at the Columbia Jewish Day School. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education from USC and a M.Ed. in Divergent Learning. I have three children; one who attends the CJDS, one in a Richland Two Magnet Program, and one at USC. I have been in education for over 20 years.
